The Staten Tools Hook Sheave Pin Upgrade Set replaces the factory sheave pin and retaining clips on 6" and 12" hook-type cable sheaves with a quick-release hairpin cotter pin system — comparable to (and an upgrade over) Greenlee® part #16797 (sheave pin) and #50302 (pin clips).

Every electrician knows the problem: the rope is already run and you need to get a sheave on the line. With factory retaining clips, that means prying stiff clips off with a screwdriver, wrestling the pin out, and hoping nothing goes flying into the trench. On a ladder or in a tight pull room, it's a two-hand, ten-minute fight.

It's also the perfect fix for the most commonly lost and worn part of a hook sheave — a bent, scored, or missing pin leaves your sheave (and your whole pull) dead in the water. Keep this set in the gang box and never wait on an OEM part again.
